The thinness of the blade allows it to be turned in the workpiece at an almost-90 degree angle, which allows the blade to track along fine detail and sharp lines. There is a blade guard and a dust blower nozzle that can be adjusted to aid while carving.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than watch a video to see how it works, see it for yourself by coming to the Maker Hub today\u00a0(<strong>Friday<\/strong>) from <strong>4 to 7 p.m.<\/strong> for our Santa\u2019s Workshop event, where you can make Christmas decorations with the scroll saw or foam cutter. You can also make Christmas gifts such as custom socks, aprons, coin rings, and leather-working!<\/p>\n<p>The Maker Hub exists as a resource and creative outlet for the entire George Fox community (yes, including non-engineers!). We are looking for student aces.
