Would you like to experience a productive conversation about an intense issue with someone who disagrees with you \u2013 one where you and they both listen well and understand each other for the purpose of understanding rather than persuading, and without resorting to insults, putdowns or other hateful speech?<\/p>\n

Are you willing to listen to the other side? Are you willing to speak to the other side with respect?<\/p>\n

The Oregon Statewide Alliance of Braver Angels is inviting George Fox students to join with students from Lewis & Clark to talk about abortion. The online event will be on Saturday, Nov. 5,<\/strong> from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.<\/strong>, via Zoom. You can sign up here<\/strong><\/a> to be a participant or an observer.<\/p>\n
