{"id":85973,"date":"2022-07-10T19:18:56","date_gmt":"2022-07-11T03:18:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/?p=85973"},"modified":"2022-07-10T19:18:58","modified_gmt":"2022-07-11T03:18:58","slug":"forticlient-vpn-to-multi-factor-authentication-mfa-change-coming-thursday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/2022\/07\/10\/forticlient-vpn-to-multi-factor-authentication-mfa-change-coming-thursday\/","title":{"rendered":"FortiClient VPN to Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) change coming Thursday"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On <strong>Thursday, July 14<\/strong>, we will roll out Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for our FortiClient VPN connection.\u00a0You will be required to use the OKTA Verify app with Push Notifications setup as one of your MFA options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like other Single Sign On apps the VPN system will send a push notification to your OKTA Verify app. If you don\u2019t already have the OKTA Verify app, please install it on your device before you need to use VPN.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1KHiqMMt9z1tNLomnbwd2COvswnbyoRGGFeXz7-EnWyU\/edit\">Here are directions<\/a><\/strong> how to opt in to Multi-Factor Authentication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FortiClient VPN set-up will be transparent and not require any changes on your side.
