The university community is invited to a special debate centering on the question, “Was the American War for Independence a Biblical and Just War?,” on Monday, Sept. 13<\/strong>, at 6:30 p.m.<\/strong> in Hoover 105.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

George Fox’s\u00c2\u00a0Mark David Hall will debate the topic with U.S. Air Force Academy’s John D. Roche. The event is cosponsored by the John Dickinson Forum and the Civility Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The general public is invited to attend in person, and it will also be streamed here<\/a><\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0The debate is possible thanks to the Jack Miller Center through a grant from M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
