Take a few minutes to check in on undergraduate students – first-year students and transfers – who are new to George Fox this year. Ask for a highlight of their experience thus far, invite them to share something challenging, and welcome them to ask for assistance if they are unsure how to navigate life at George Fox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, encourage them to attend the “GFU 101: Student Panel on Starting Strong at George Fox” Bruin Adventure program this Friday, Sept. 10<\/strong>, from 11 to 11:50 a.m.<\/strong> in Bauman Auditorium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Session description: Sometimes we learn best by doing it ourselves and learning from our mistakes. And sometimes, we can learn from the wisdom of others who have gone before us. Come hear from returning students about what helped them thrive, things they wish they had done differently, and advice for your first semester at George Fox. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll have a time for questions for the student panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
