{"id":78826,"date":"2021-07-13T16:47:00","date_gmt":"2021-07-14T00:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/?p=78826"},"modified":"2021-07-13T07:57:47","modified_gmt":"2021-07-13T15:57:47","slug":"wellness-wednesdays-join-us-for-walk-this-saturday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/2021\/07\/13\/wellness-wednesdays-join-us-for-walk-this-saturday\/","title":{"rendered":"Wellness Wednesdays: Join us for walk this Saturday"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As we continue our journey through the different paths of gratitude, we would like to invite you to join us on an inspirational walk this <strong>Saturday, July 17<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will gather at <strong>9 a.m.<\/strong> in the parking lot area off the trailhead at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/trappistabbey.org\/hiking-trails\">Our Lady of Guadalupe Trappist Abbey<\/a><\/strong> to walk the Camino a la Paz&nbsp;(&#8220;the way of peace&#8221;), pray, and reflect on gratitude in our life. Pack a light snack, get some water, and bring your family or friends (sorry &#8230; no dogs are allowed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reflection can be a way to express gratitude. In I Thessalonians 5:16-18, it says, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d which reminds us not to overthink life and trust God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week, we are sharing ways to show gratitude through our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1-cVgCuMFY2gYn-Ck6mN5yARq4A1aPqnL\/view?usp=sharing\">life challenges<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions?
