The university\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s theatre department invites the George Fox community to its spring music theatre adventure, Parables: A Theatrical Installation<\/em>, to be presented live on campus April 8-11<\/strong> and April 15-18<\/strong>, and both<\/strong> live and virtually April 15-18<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Live performances are free<\/strong> and are scheduled at 7:30<\/strong> and 9 p.m. <\/strong>Thursday through Saturday, April 8-10 and April 15-17, and on both Sundays at 7:30 p.m.<\/strong> only. We will meet at the amphitheater on campus to begin the live shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please be aware that live shows are available only to on-campus students and employees.<\/strong> If you are interested in picking up a ticket for a live show, contact Kathy Harris (kharris@georgefox.edu<\/a>) in the theatre department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The virtual performances will be presented at 7:30 p.m.<\/strong> each night between April 15 and 18. You may pick up your free tickets at this link<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boy and Girl meet.

Then the world becomes better, too.
Or does it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this time of isolation and division, we are examining the lessons from our favorite stories. Inspired by well-known parables\/fables\/allegories and the bestseller The Alchemist<\/em>, the George Fox theatre ensemble experiments with how to create meaning during a pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traveling through our gorgeous campus, we invite you to come and experience a new type of storytelling that makes familiar stories anew. Will you join our journey as we search for a language that all people understand?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
