{"id":77105,"date":"2021-04-04T16:39:00","date_gmt":"2021-04-05T00:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/?p=77105"},"modified":"2021-04-02T08:46:50","modified_gmt":"2021-04-02T16:46:50","slug":"plan-to-attend-theatres-parables-this-week-live-or-virtually","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/2021\/04\/04\/plan-to-attend-theatres-parables-this-week-live-or-virtually\/","title":{"rendered":"Plan to attend theatre&#8217;s &#8216;Parables&#8217; this week, live or virtually"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The university\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s theatre department invites the George Fox community to its spring drama,&nbsp;<em>Parables: A Theatrical Installation<\/em>, to be presented live on campus&nbsp;<strong>April 8-11<\/strong>&nbsp;and <strong>April 15-18<\/strong>, and <strong>both<\/strong> live and virtually&nbsp;<strong>April 15-18<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Live performances are <strong>free<\/strong> (donations accepted) and are scheduled at\u00c2\u00a0<strong>7:30<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0and\u00c2\u00a0<strong>9 p.m.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>Thursday through Saturday, April 8-10 and April 15-17, and on both Sundays at\u00c2\u00a0<strong>7:30 p.m.<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0only. We will meet at the amphitheater on campus to begin the live shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please be aware that live shows are available&nbsp;<strong>only to on-campus students and employees.<\/strong>&nbsp;If you are interested in picking up a ticket for a live show, contact Kathy Harris (<a href=\"mailto:kharris@georgefox.edu\">kharris@georgefox.edu<\/a>) in the theatre department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The virtual performances will be presented at&nbsp;<strong>7:30 p.m.<\/strong>&nbsp;each night between April 15 and 18. You may pick up your free tickets at&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.showtix4u.com\/event-details\/50255\">this link<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Synopsis<\/strong>:&nbsp;<em>Parables<\/em>&nbsp;is a traveling theatrical installation that promises to be a unique experience for performers and audience members alike.
