This may result in an unpaid charge and a credit balance at the same time. When that happens, we have to audit the account to be sure the refund is valid. That takes time and slows down refunds significantly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To grant \u00e2\u20ac\u0153permission,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d please sign into&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/my.georgefox.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>My.GeorgeFox.edu<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;and go to your task tile, or follow the steps at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.georgefox.edu\/offices\/student-accounts\/files\/Financial_Aid_T4_Permission_FAQ.pdf\"><strong>this link<\/strong><\/a>. The federal rule is that you complete this before your financial aid disburses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your loans have already disbursed for the semester, you will need to complete two steps: 1. Complete the form, and 2. Email&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"mailto:studentaccountrefunds@georgefox.edu\" target=\"_blank\">studentaccountrefunds@georgefox.edu<\/a>&nbsp;this week to authorize us to pre-date the effective date of your permission form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tip #2: Session Start Dates Impact Refund Timing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your first session this spring begins after Jan 19, your aid disbursement will be delayed until at least 10 days prior to session start, resulting in a refund delay. Please do everything else you can to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.georgefox.edu\/offices\/student-accounts\/policies\/disclosure.html\"><strong>help us expedite your refunds<\/strong><\/a>. (Click link and scroll down to \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Refunds\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tip #3:<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Participation in Student Account<\/strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.georgefox.edu\/offices\/student-accounts\/Direct%20Deposit%20Refunding.html\"><strong>Direct Deposit<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;<strong>is now Mandatory!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have not signed up for Student Account Direct Deposit (DD), you must do so immediately.&nbsp; (Employment and Student Accounts DD enrollments are two entirely separate processes.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please sign into&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/my.georgefox.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">My.GeorgeFox.edu<\/a>&nbsp;and go to your task tile to complete this requirement.&nbsp;Failure to do so will result in refund delays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions?
