The Department of Art and Design is hosting an art exhibit and silent auction of faculty artwork! The silent auction opens online tomorrow (Wednesday<\/strong>) at 8 a.m.<\/strong> and continues until 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13<\/strong>. Proceeds received will support student scholarships for art and design students.<\/p>\n

Auction Process<\/strong><\/p>\n

A 32Auctions account must be created in order to bid. You can prepare for the auction by creating your account early. Follow this link<\/a><\/strong> to view the auction website, and follow the prompters to create an account.<\/p>\n

Payment collection<\/strong>: Once the auction is closed, you will receive a Notice of Award email. Please respond to the email letting us know if you are picking up the item or if you need it shipped to you.<\/p>\n

Once we know your pick-up\/shipping information, we will send you an invoice that will need to be paid within five business days. If you are not local to Newberg, shipping will be available. Shipping costs will be determined by dimension and weight of item.<\/p>\n

Information regarding the exhibit, currently on display in the Minthorne Gallery, can be found on our Instagram<\/a>. Faculty, students, parents, and alumni will also be emailed information about the auction and exhibition.<\/p>\n

This exhibit contains paintings, photography, printmaking, illustration, ceramics, and design. Artists featured include Gary Buhler, Jeff Cameron, Douglas Campbell, Burkhardt Kleiber, Adam Long, Tessa Sargent, Jillian Sokso, Mark Terry, Tim Timmerman, Seth Van Der Eems, and Brandon Waybright.<\/p>\n
