Everyone on campus is invited to visit a free art exhibition featuring the work of Tim Timmerman, a professor of art and design here at George Fox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibit, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Allegory of Love,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d remains up through Oct. 21<\/strong> in the Lindgren Gallery in the Ross Center. The gallery will be open Monday through Friday<\/strong> from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This exhibition features the paintings and assemblage work of Timmerman, who was moved by Paolo Veronese\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s paintings, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Allegories of Love,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d when traveling in Italy on Juniors Abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Timmerman\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Allegory of Love\u00e2\u20ac\u009d contemplates how God can move and show up in our lives, and how encountering the divine is something we are invited into every day. In these pieces, Timmerman draws from both Old Testament narratives as well as stories from his own life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
