To provide clarity across campus, here is a reminder concerning which purchasing tool to use when.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requisitions<\/strong>: Please fill out a purchase requisition to purchase products or services from a vendor\/supplier. Contact purchasing (<a href=\"mailto:purchasing@georgefox.edu\">purchasing@georgefox.edu<\/a>) with any questions and refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.georgefox.edu\/offices\/fin_affairs\/purchasingpolicyincludingcovid-19update5-12-20.pdf\">Purchasing Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Individuals (not tied to an entity such as a business)<\/strong>: Complete a check request in employment records. This is done through HR through George Fox timekeeping. Please refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.georgefox.edu\/offices\/hr\/payroll\/timekeeping.html\">George Fox timekeeping system guide<\/a> for instruction on how to proceed. Contact HR with questions (<a href=\"mailto:hr@georgefox.edu\">hr@georgefox.edu<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reimbursements<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Standard full-time staff reimbursements are processed through Concur. Contact Kathi Becker (<a href=\"mailto:kbecker@georgefox.edu\">kbecker@georgefox.edu<\/a>) if you have questions.<\/li>\n<li>Part-time hourly staff are to use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.georgefox.edu\/offices\/fin_affairs\/FORMS.html\">reimbursement form<\/a> found on the finance page under forms. Contact accounts payable (<a href=\"mailto:accountspayable@georgefox.edu\">accountspayable@georgefox.edu<\/a>) if you have questions about finance forms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Visa Charges and Transactions<\/strong>: All Visa purchases need to be approved through the requisition process in order to receive authorization\/approval to purchase. Once a PO is issued, a requester can proceed using their Visa (please keep in mind that you still have to process receipts through Concur for all Visa transactions).<\/p>\n<p>Contact purchasing (<a href=\"mailto:purchasing@georgefox.edu\">purchasing@georgefox.edu<\/a>) with questions about Visa PO approvals using the requisition process. Contact Kathi Becker (<a href=\"mailto:kbecker@georgefox.edu\">kbecker@georgefox.edu<\/a>) if you have questions concerning Visa cards and Concur.<\/p>\n<p>For all other questions specifically tied to requisitions and purchase orders, contact purchasing.
