She will present a session titled &#8220;Universal Design in Instruction: Elevating Outcomes for All Our Students,&#8221; on <strong>Wednesday, Jan. 29<\/strong>, at <strong>11 a.m. <\/strong>in PDS 280 and at <strong>3 p.m.<\/strong> in Stevens 207.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The concept of Universal Design involves creating environments that maximize benefit for the broadest possible audience. After an introduction to Universal Design, Smith will lead participants in considering how we might elevate learning outcomes for an increasingly anxious and depressed student population. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Faculty may participate by video streaming. This session fulfills two PD hours for faculty.
