In celebration of National Native American Heritage Month, the Center for Peace and Justice and the Department of History, Sociology and Politics welcome Jace Weaver to campus for the 2019 Fall Justice Conference. His lecture is set for Monday, Nov. 4<\/strong>, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. <\/strong>in Hoover 105. The event is free and open to the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weaver is director of the Institute of Native American Studies, the Franklin professor of Native American studies and religion, and adjunct professor of law at the University of Georgia. Join us to hear him speak about the “Bonds of Alliance: The Surprising Story of American Indians and Socialists United to Combat the KKK.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
