The psychology department is initiating a new class for advanced undergraduates or graduate students who are interested in the brain science underlying teaching and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course is Psyc 465: Psychology of Teaching and Learning, and will focus on recent research that will allow you to cut through the myths and see how learning really works \u00e2\u20ac\u201c and how tutoring can be targeted to meet the needs of the individual students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Class will be highly experiential, allowing students to tailor the course outcomes to their specific interests.
