Jacobsen &amp; Co., Inc. to perform pavement resurfacing work on six Newberg streets between <strong>June 21 and July 9<\/strong>. Construction work includes grinding, soft spot repair and paving.<\/p>\n<p>Streets to be paved are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Haworth Avenue between Deborah Road &amp; North Springbrook Road (June 21-25)<\/li>\n<li>East 9th Street between South Blaine &amp; South College streets (June 21-25)<\/li>\n<li>South River Street between East 4th Street &amp; East. 1st Street (June 21-30)<\/li>\n<li>South College Street between East 4th Street &amp; East 1st Street (June 21-30)<\/li>\n<li>East Mountainview Drive between North Main Street &amp; North College Street (June 28-July 7)<\/li>\n<li>Villa Road between Highway 99W &amp; Haworth Avenue (July 1-9)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Villa Road grinding will be performed during the day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and paving during the night from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Work on the five other streets will be performed during the day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Streets will be closed to all through traffic. Emergency and local access is allowed. Residents and businesses are urged to park on adjacent streets, and on-street parking is not allowed during construction. The schedule is weather dependent and may vary a few days.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic delays should be expected, and the city appreciates your understanding and cooperation. Visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newbergoregon.gov\">newbergoregon.gov<\/a> for construction or traffic updates or a PDF map.
