Debby also had a chapter, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Empowerment and holistic community development in Rwanda,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/a> published in Leadership and Power in International Development: Navigating the Intersections of Gender, Culture, Context, and Sustainability<\/em> (Emerald Publishing).<\/p>\n

David Liu<\/strong> (College of Business) had a journal article, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Chinese Job Well-Being: Its Concepts and Scale Developing,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in the most recent issue of the International Journal of Business and Anthropology<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Ed Higgins<\/strong> (English Faculty Emeritus) published three poems \u00e2\u20ac\u201c \u00e2\u20ac\u0153on winter days,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Entering Winter\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Winter Storm\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in Issue 20 of Tigershark Magazine<\/em>, a British online publication. The themed issue was on the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Dark of Winter.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Byron Shenk<\/strong>, who retired from the university earlier this year after 28 years of service as a professor and athletic trainer, received Goshen College\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 2018 \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Champion of Character Award.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Shenk graduated from Goshen in 1963 with a degree in health and human performance.<\/p>\n

Patrick Allen<\/strong>, a former provost and education professor at the university who retired earlier this year, published a book this month, titled For Today: A Prayer When Life Gets Messy<\/em> (Cascade Books).
