{"id":56866,"date":"2018-10-28T11:01:15","date_gmt":"2018-10-28T19:01:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/?p=56866"},"modified":"2018-10-26T08:09:52","modified_gmt":"2018-10-26T16:09:52","slug":"swing-wellness-fair-today-canyon-commons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/2018\/10\/28\/swing-wellness-fair-today-canyon-commons\/","title":{"rendered":"Swing by the Wellness Fair today in Canyon Commons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Employee Empowerment\u00c2\u00a0is hosting a Wellness Fair\u00c2\u00a0today (<strong>Monday<\/strong>)\u00c2\u00a0between\u00c2\u00a0<strong>noon and 2 p.m.<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0in Canyon Commons 101.<\/p>\n<p>Check out what we\u00c2\u00a0are offering:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chehalem Aquatic Center Free Employee Membership<br \/>\n<\/strong>The aquatic center manager will be on-site at the fair providing information about this amazing new employee benefit!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Employee Fitness Classes<br \/>\n<\/strong>Stop by the booth to get your questions answered or get assistance\u00c2\u00a0with signing up for the Hadlock Student Center FREE group fitness classes for employees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Physical Therapy<br \/>\n<\/strong>PT will be hosting a booth at the fair.\u00c2\u00a0Come by to find out about the great offerings available to the George Fox community, including massage and educational opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flu Shot Clinic<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kaiser\u00c2\u00a0is sponsoring\u00c2\u00a0&#8220;Get a flu shot&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0on campus! They will be on-site\u00c2\u00a0the duration of the\u00c2\u00a0Wellness Fair.<\/li>\n<li>Employees, spouses and children (age 18 or over) are welcome.<\/li>\n<li>There is no cost for Kaiser members; just show up! If you are not a Kaiser member, &#8220;Get a flu shot&#8221; bills most major insurance companies, including Regence (be sure to bring your ID card with you).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>No-Cost Spinal Assessments and Massage<br \/>\n<\/strong>Springbrook\u00c2\u00a0Chiropractic will be joining the Wellness Fair to hand out gift certificates and meet with employees,\u00c2\u00a0conducting\u00c2\u00a0brief consultations and palpation of the spine.
