Are you interested in learning more about George Fox University sick leave share and parental leave policies? Do you find yourself wondering what you should say and do when your direct report comes to you saying, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I need to take leave\u00e2\u20ac\u009d?<\/p>\n

Can you direct an employee where to go to find their leave balances?<\/p>\n

Here is your opportunity to learn what every supervisor needs to know about George Fox employee leave of absences! Four sessions of this supervisor training will be held in October.<\/p>\n

Newberg campus Lunch and Learns will be held Thursday,<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0Oct. 4, Wednesday, Oct. 24, and Thursday, Oct. 25<\/strong>. Choose the date that works best for you. Bring your own lunch (from home or Canyon Commons dining), and learn about leaves of absences with your fellow supervisors.<\/p>\n

The Portland Center session will be held on Wednesday,<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0Oct. 10<\/strong>, after the October Portland community luncheon.<\/p>\n

Sign up here<\/a><\/strong>. This training is intended\u00c2\u00a0for George Fox employees\u00c2\u00a0who supervise faculty, staff and\/or administrators. Supervisors who already attended this session in the spring are not required to attend this session.<\/p>\n
