Students come to Catalyst for a variety of reasons, including anxiety, depression and social pressures. Many of these students long to have a one-on-one relationship with someone they can trust and look up to. We are looking for mentors who can commit to fall and\/or spring semester.<\/p>\n<p>CAHS is looking for people who are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Committed to building relationships with students<\/li>\n<li>Willing to be proactive and initiative<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about working with youth<\/li>\n<li>Attentive listeners<\/li>\n<li>Encouraging and supportive<\/li>\n<li>Positive role models<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a mentor, you could be a consistent figure\u00c2\u00a0who guides them through obstacles in their school, home, social and academic life. Mentors would meet with students for about one hour a week between\u00c2\u00a0<strong>7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0<strong>Monday through Friday<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0at the Catalyst building, located a mile and a half from George Fox. There is transportation available if needed.<\/p>\n<p>Interested?
