We were the first in food service to make this commitment companywide, and as industry leaders it&#8217;s a step we can take toward safeguarding the earth from single-use plastics.<\/p>\n<p>Effective <strong>Monday, Sept. 24<\/strong>, Bon Appetit at George Fox will be offering compostable paper straws in the <strong>Bruin Den<\/strong> and <strong>Bridge Cafe<\/strong>. We will continue to offer a small number of plastic straws specifically for our guests with disabilities and access needs. If you really need a straw, we are happy to provide one.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for joining this worldwide movement away from single-use disposables.
