{"id":53354,"date":"2018-04-08T16:16:08","date_gmt":"2018-04-09T00:16:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/?p=53354"},"modified":"2018-04-08T16:28:18","modified_gmt":"2018-04-09T00:28:18","slug":"finance-department-month-end-close-dates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/2018\/04\/08\/finance-department-month-end-close-dates\/","title":{"rendered":"Finance Department Month-End Close Dates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In preparation for FY17-18 year-end close, the Finance Department would greatly appreciate your help in streamlining our month-end close for the months leading up to year-end.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, for the remaining months of FY17-18, please observe the following deadlines, as it will greatly help us provide timely financial information to the executive staff, banking entities and the board of directors as year-end nears.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FY17-18 Month-End Close Dates<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Please submit to Finance Campus Box #6029<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The following are the due dates for each month for the respective transactional items<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check requests, invoices, non-Concur expense reimbursements, petty cash logs:<br \/>\nFor March transactions, submit by April 10<br \/>\nFor April transactions, submit by May 4<br \/>\nFor May transactions, submit by June 6<br \/>\nFor June transactions, submit by July 6<\/li>\n<li>Deposits:<br \/>\nFor March deposits, submit by April 10<br \/>\nFor April deposits, submit by May 1<br \/>\nFor May deposits, submit by June 1<br \/>\nFor June deposits, submit by July 2<\/li>\n<li>Error Corrections\/IDC&#8217;s:<br \/>\nFor March ECs\/IDCs, submit by April 10<br \/>\nFor April ECs\/IDCs, submit by May 4<br \/>\nFor May ECs\/IDCs, submit by June 6<br \/>\nFor June ECs\/IDCs, submit by July 6<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is our ultimate goal to have a standard month-end close calendar for each fiscal year going forward, so the campus community will always be aware of approaching deadlines for items processed through Finance.\u00c2\u00a0 We are currently in the process of creating a month-end close calendar for FY18-19.<\/p>\n<p>We truly appreciate your cooperation and understanding.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you,<br \/>\nFinance Department<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In preparation for FY17-18 year-end close, the Finance Department would greatly appreciate your help in streamlining our month-end close for the months leading up to year-end.
