The new parental leave policy provides paid leave for both the primary and secondary caregiver for a newborn or newly placed adopted child.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a brief overview:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary Caregiver<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eight weeks 100\u00c2\u00a0percent paid leave<\/li>\n<li>Four-week phase back (upon return)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Secondary Caregiver<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two weeks 100\u00c2\u00a0percent paid<\/li>\n<li>Two-week phase back (upon return)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The policy and procedure for requesting paid leave will be published to our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.georgefox.edu\/offices\/hr\/handbook\/index.html\">Employee Handbook<\/a><\/strong> on March 1, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Please review the full policy carefully for detailed information about eligibility and procedures.
