View this video for an overview: <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/KKhw9zSpFNg\">FoxTALE Course Overview<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.georgefox.edu\/offices\/it\/teaching-learning\/foxtale-faculty\/index.html\">FoxTALE for Faculty<\/a> webpage for guides and resources and to learn more about the new features added.<\/p>\n<p>Use your new, empty Spring 2018 sites as the sites in which you will teach. You may import content from another course site. See the instructions <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1gKOHisjeQ7ViG6E4iB8-e8CYxFpQVexlU32gZ1pWmsk\/edit\">here<\/a> for importing.<\/p>\n<p>You may need to add sections to your course home page. This video shows you how: <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/KPIX_44ff7I\">Manage Course Sections<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Your Spring 2018 sites are hidden to students. When you are ready to make a site available, from the course home page:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to Administration&gt; Course administration &gt; Edit settings<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down to the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Visible\u00e2\u20ac\u009d section and change \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Hide\u00e2\u20ac\u009d to \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Show\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/li>\n<li>Just below the Visible setting is the Course start date where you can make changes if needed.<\/li>\n<li>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Save changes\u00e2\u20ac\u009d at the bottom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Remember that all students enrolled in your class in MyGFU will automatically be enrolled in your FoxTALE course site. As students add and drop your course in MyGFU, they will be added or removed automatically from your FoxTALE site.<\/p>\n<p>Metacourses may be used in special cases where you want to use one FoxTALE site for multiple sections of the same class. If you would like to use a metacourse, contact the Service Desk for assistance with setting them up.<\/p>\n<p>Questions?
