The Office for Spiritual Life has become aware of a need in the Newberg School District with regard to the upcoming holiday break. Forty-eight percent of students in the Newberg School District participate in the free lunch program, and 168 of the students experience homelessness.<\/p>\n

Over the winter break, these children and families will have difficulty getting the meals that they need. The spiritual life office is collecting monetary donations and gift cards to local grocery stores and restaurants to aid our neighbors during the Christmas holiday. Please direct gift cards and\/or donations to the Office for Spiritual Life before Dec. 15. Thank you!<\/p>\n
