Space is limited, as each course is capped at 20 students. All university online courses are taught by faculty experienced in the online format, and the offerings cover a range of required general education options such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Art History Survey to 1450 (ARTS 216)<\/li>\n<li>Bible Survey (BIBL 100)<\/li>\n<li>Biblical Studies: Life of Christ (BIBL 215)<\/li>\n<li>Biblical Studies: The Book of Genesis (BIBL 215)<\/li>\n<li>Introduction to Communication (COMM 100)<\/li>\n<li>United States to 1865 (HIST 151)<\/li>\n<li>United States from 1865 (HIST 152)<\/li>\n<li>Nutrition (HLTH 300)<\/li>\n<li>Philosophy and Literature: Tolkien and Philosophy (HUMA 205)<\/li>\n<li>World Religions (INTL 440)<\/li>\n<li>Intro to Literature (LITR 100)<\/li>\n<li>World of Math (MATH 150)<\/li>\n<li>Calculus I (MATH 201)<\/li>\n<li>Calculus II (MATH 202)<\/li>\n<li>Music Fundamentals (MUSI 100)<\/li>\n<li>World of Music (MUSI 120)<\/li>\n<li>General Psychology (PSYC 150)<\/li>\n<li>History and Theology of Christianity (RELI 300)<\/li>\n<li>World Religions (RELI 440)<\/li>\n<li>Principles of Sociology (SOCI 150)<\/li>\n<li>Cultural Anthropology (SOCI 310)<\/li>\n<li>College Writing (WRIT 110)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These courses are offered at 50 percent off tuition, and your regular financial aid may be available (talk to the financial aid office for details). Online education does not have to be &#8220;impersonal&#8221; or ineffective; our summer online courses are routinely evaluated by students with very high scores, comparable to &#8220;traditional&#8221; class experiences, and in a survey of the 2016 summer online students, 90 percent responded positively when asked, &#8220;Did you feel this online course delivered on the university&#8217;s &#8216;Be Known&#8217; promise?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>To register, talk to your CAP Coach \u00e2\u20ac\u201c or log in to <a href=\"https:\/\/mygfu.georgefox.edu\">MyGFU<\/a>, then navigate to the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Student Center,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d then \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Enroll,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and then follow the process from there.<\/p>\n<p>Questions?
