This fall she presented two research posters,\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The mathematical integrity of integer \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcpins\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 on Pinterest\u00e2\u20ac\u009d\u00c2\u00a0and\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Prospective teachers\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 attention to realism and consistency in a child\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s temperature story,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d at\u00c2\u00a0the 37th annual meeting of the North American Chapter of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education in Tucson, Arizona. In addition, a coauthored article, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Preservice teachers&#8217; pictorial strategies for a multistep multiplicative fraction problem,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d\u00c2\u00a0in the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0732312316301328\">Journal of Mathematical Behavior<\/a><\/em>, is available online and will be published in print later in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The Graduate School of Counseling was well represented at the Western Association for Counselor Education and Supervision Conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, Nov. 10-12. Collectively, <strong>Lori DeKruyf<\/strong>, <strong>Steve\u00c2\u00a0Bearden<\/strong>, <strong>Anna Berardi<\/strong>, <strong>Chris Cleaver<\/strong>, <strong>Keith Dempsey<\/strong>, <strong>Michelle Engblom-Deglmann<\/strong>, <strong>Jennifer Lichtenberg<\/strong>, <strong>Rand Michael<\/strong>, <strong>Beronica Salazar<\/strong>, <strong>Richard Shaw<\/strong> and <strong>Daniel\u00c2\u00a0Sweeney<\/strong> presented \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Counselor Educators Lean-in to Walk the Talk: A Team Approach to Strengthening Faculty Multicultural Sensitivity.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ed Higgins<\/strong> (English) published his poem \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The Shepherds\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in the 10th holiday issue of\u00c2\u00a0<em>Danse Macabre<\/em> (Nov. 23, 2016), and his poem \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Rain Song\u00e2\u20ac\u009d is in the current issue of <em>Young Ravens Literary Review: A Biannual Online Literary Journal<\/em> (November 2016).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nicole M.
