The George Fox University School of Nursing is sending a group of students to Kenya! Come eat some authentic Kenyan food (catered by the lovely Grace Kuto) and learn about the trip! The dinner will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, at North Valley Friends Church (4020 N. College St.).<\/p>\n

Grace is a member of Tigard Community Friends Church and the president\/co-founder of the Harambee Centre in Chwele. She is a\u00c2\u00a0 native of Kenya whose village is near the clinics where we will serve. She will share some thoughts about the status of health care in rural Kenya.<\/p>\n

The students will also share about what they will be doing in Kenya and what they are excited for. Each student is trying to earn $3,350 to pay for transportation and medical supplies.<\/p>\n
