For those of us who were not at George Fox in 1965 when Heacock Commons and the current dining room was built, have you ever wondered what one of the first meals might have been? Have you ever thought how much lunch might have cost? Have you ever heard of the “Quaker Inn Cafe”? If the answer to any of these is yes, join us tomorrow (Wednesday<\/strong>) for our “1965 Throwback Lunch” and you’ll discover what you missed 51 years ago!<\/p>\n

We’ve rented a juke box spinning ’60s platters and will be featuring favorites like chicken a la king, bologna and egg salad sandwiches, spaghetti and meatballs, fruit cocktail and much, much more \u00e2\u20ac\u201c all for the throwback price of $1.25 for all staff, faculty and commuters.<\/p>\n

Bring your appetite and we’ll see you in Klages on Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
