Find out more at an information session today\u00c2\u00a0(<strong>Thursday<\/strong>)\u00c2\u00a0from\u00c2\u00a0<strong>5:30 to 6:30 p.m.<\/strong> in\u00c2\u00a0<strong>EHS 125<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The academy is an intensive eight-week program developed for George Fox students who will be entering their senior year in fall 2016. This year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s academy will provide intensive training and hands-on experience in collaborative digital marketing. The program builds on the foundation of your college career to prepare for your transition to a commercial career. It is for students across all majors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liberal and fine arts\u00e2\u20ac\u201dapply design, visual communication and storytelling to help companies engage, delight, inform and serve people<\/li>\n<li>Engineering and computer science\u00e2\u20ac\u201dapply technical insight to a rapidly evolving technology landscape to help define, develop and deliver virtuoso digital marketing capability<\/li>\n<li>Marketing and business\u00e2\u20ac\u201denhance your business thinking and marketing savvy with digital marketing expertise and showcase web\/social solutions to real client needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Senior executive mentors will introduce participants to leading digital marketing software tools and analytics. Participant teams will then gain hands-on practical experience creating a digital marketing campaign for a real company with a real-world challenge. George Fox students who are selected to participate in the academy will receive a $1,000 fellowship upon completion.<\/p>\n<p>Selection will be competitive and the deadline to apply is March 15. For more details about how to apply, project sponsors, instructors, companies involved and many other details, plan to attend the information session this week.<\/p>\n<p>Questions?
