The program will include\u00c2\u00a0fantasies on themes form operas by Bizet, Tchaikovsky, Mozart and others.<\/p>\n<p>With performances described as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153the highlight of the evening\u00e2\u20ac\u009d (<em>Kansas City Star<\/em>), Borja enjoys a varied career as a performer and educator. He was recently appointed to the faculty of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse as assistant professor of music to teach flute and music history. Borja has performed throughout the United States and Mexico and has appeared in master classes throughout the United States and Europe, studying with some of the world\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s leading flutists.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The university community is welcome to a free concert this Saturday, Jan. 23, featuring a nationally renowned flutist.
