Foster Parents Night Out is here! This will be a monthly event (the second Saturday of the month from 4 to 8 p.m.) when\u00c2\u00a0students will get to interact, mentor and spend time with children in the foster care system while foster parents get a few hours off.<\/p>\n

There will be games, food, crafts and much more. It will be held at McMinnville’s Church on the\u00c2\u00a0Hill (home of an awesome indoor playground called Scotty’s playhouse). We need your help! Whether you want to facilitate games, rock climbing, crafts, help with security, or help in the nursery, all skill sets are welcome and needed.<\/p>\n

There are only 25 spots available, and you do need to be 18 years or older. Background checks will be required.<\/p>\n

Important<\/strong>: Please fill out this\u00c2\u00a0short form<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0to reserve your spot and let us know where you would most like to participate and to put on your calendars the mandatory<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0DHS training on Sunday, Jan. 17, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Cap and Gown Room. If you cannot make this training, there is one the next Sunday in Portland that can be arranged.<\/p>\n
