Kathi has served as an english teacher and gifted coordinator for the Beaverton School District, and in Hillsboro as assistant principal at Century High School, a middle school principal, and two years in her current position. She just completed her doctoral dissertation in April based on research on the practice of gifted education in Oregon public Schools and is a 2007 graduate of the George Fox Ed.D. program.<\/p>\n<p>The symposium schedule each day starts with an informal lunch by either going through the cafeteria at 11:45 or brown-bag, with the speaker making their presentation from 12 to 12:55 pm.
