{"id":34220,"date":"2015-10-26T12:27:57","date_gmt":"2015-10-26T20:27:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/?p=34220"},"modified":"2015-10-26T12:29:44","modified_gmt":"2015-10-26T20:29:44","slug":"2015-16-whos-who-nominations-for-undergraduate-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/2015\/10\/26\/2015-16-whos-who-nominations-for-undergraduate-students\/","title":{"rendered":"2015-16 &#8216;Who&#8217;s Who&#8217; Nominations for Undergraduate Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The time has come once again to begin the process of selecting our undergraduate \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Who&#8217;s Who\u00e2\u20ac\u009d nominees for the 2015-16 academic year.<\/p>\n<p>For those of you who have contact with our undergraduate population you have the opportunity to make nominations by selecting up to 20 students who you feel are worthy of recognition from the students who qualify for selection. These students are eligible for nomination and expect to graduate either midyear or spring (December 2015 or April 2016).<\/p>\n<p>Please take a few minutes to make your selections for this award! You do NOT need to choose 20 students &#8230; just up to 20! Please mark your selections <strong>no later than Friday, Nov. 13<\/strong>, 2015. Please choose up to 20 but no more than 20 students.<\/p>\n<p>Click on this link to make your selections:<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/r\/GFUWhosWho2015-16\">Who&#8217;s Who Nomination Form<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition, these students all have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 and have turned in their application for degree. Other criteria for choosing a student include their demonstration of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Personal integrity<\/li>\n<li>Involvement in the George Fox community<\/li>\n<li>Service to the community at large<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A total of 155 students are eligible for nomination based on GPA alone. We will record the top-20 selections and determine the top-25 choices university-wide. We will then invite the top 25 students to respond.
