The university community is invited to a free lecture, titled “Faith, Work, Economics and Religious Freedom,” at 7 p.m. tonight (Tuesday)<\/strong> in EHS 102<\/strong>. Presenting will be Hugh Whelchel, president of the Institute for Faith, Work & Economics and author of How Then Shall We Work<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Whelchel will address the Christian meaning of work and how the church lost sight of it. Central to his argument is that all work, not just missions and being a pastor, is important to God.<\/p>\n
