{"id":32567,"date":"2015-08-19T16:05:50","date_gmt":"2015-08-20T00:05:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/?p=32567"},"modified":"2015-08-19T16:06:37","modified_gmt":"2015-08-20T00:06:37","slug":"mail-and-print-services-housekeeping-items-to-keep-in-mind","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/2015\/08\/19\/mail-and-print-services-housekeeping-items-to-keep-in-mind\/","title":{"rendered":"Mail and print services: Housekeeping items to keep in mind"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the start of school right around the corner, here are some housekeeping items to keep in mind in regards to mail and print services &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mail Services \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Extended Hours<\/strong><br \/>\nMail services will have special extended hours for students to receive their mail and packages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saturday, Aug. 29, 2-4 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>During the first week of school, Aug. 31 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Sept. 4, 7:30 a.m. \u00e2\u20ac\u201c 5 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The week of Sept. 7, mail services will return to its regular schedule of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Please have your student ID card and\/or driver\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s license with you when you come pick up your packages. A photo from your phones or tablets is not acceptable and your packages will not be handed over to you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Department Lanyards<\/strong><br \/>\nPlease remember that department lanyards are required when a student worker comes to pick up department mail and packages in mail services. Mail services will not release the mail or packages without the department lanyard. If your department has not received a new lanyard for the 2015-16 academic year, please contact Richard Silver (<a href=\"mailto:rsilver@georgefox.edu\">rsilver@georgefox.edu<\/a>) ASAP.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chart of Accounts<\/strong><br \/>\nChart of accounts numbers are required for all print jobs and also when sending department mail or packages out. It is not mail and print services job to know your department\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s chart of accounts number.
