Welcome back to all returning staff and faculty, and welcome to all those new to George Fox! Vehicle registration is in full swing, and there have been many announcements during the past three weeks explaining the process. We ask that you complete this process as soon as possible so we can give our undivided attention to students when they arrive. Here are instructions and tips:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The Vehicle Registration link is located under GFU Resources on\u00c2\u00a0myGFU<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0-\u00c2\u00a0not under University Forms.<\/li>\n
  2. Sign in using your seven-digit ID number, which is in between the dashes on your ID card. If your card is old and only has\u00c2\u00a0six<\/em>\u00c2\u00a0digits in-between the dashes, then add a “1” before those six digits.<\/li>\n
  3. Have your DMV vehicle registration card in front of you for each car you want to register on the\u00c2\u00a0one<\/em>\u00c2\u00a0gratis permit and enter\u00c2\u00a0them one after another.<\/li>\n
  4. If you need to purchase extra permits for additional cars, bring $5 cash per permit and the vehicle information to the Security office and we will register you there and hand you your permit for the extra vehicles.<\/li>\n
  5. Please include your campus PO box number<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0on the second line of the “mailing address” section. Your permits will be sent to your campus PO box – they will not be mailed to any other address.<\/li>\n
  6. Your GFU ID number is linked to your preferred name, and that is what will auto-populate in the database, not your legal name. No worries -\u00c2\u00a0that will still work.<\/li>\n
  7. If you did not receive a confirmation email that your registration was completed, it didn’t go through. Call\u00c2\u00a0Nadine Kincaid or Ed\u00c2\u00a0Gierok<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0in Security at\u00c2\u00a0503-554-2090<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0to troubleshoot the issue.<\/li>\n
  8. We’re here to help! Call us or send an email to\u00c2\u00a0egierok@georgefox.edu<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0if you have a situation that is out-of-the-box or are having difficulties. This is new for us as well, so we will work it out together.<\/li>\n
