Students arriving early for fall sports, RA training, graduate orientation programs, Welcome Weekend, or staff training, here are some helpful hints regarding the new process for vehicle registration:<\/p>\n

1. Remember to type in your campus post office box number or local address as the ‘mailing’ address when you register your vehicle so that it arrives to your campus address, rather than your home address.<\/p>\n

2. Your permit will be written up as a package at Mail Services and you will be required to sign for it.<\/p>\n

3. The link to register is now located in “GFU RESOURCES” at the bottom of the page in MYGFU<\/a>.<\/p>\n

4. You will need to sign in using your 7 digit GFU student ID. This ID is between the dashes on your ID card.<\/p>\n

5. You will need your DMV registration card when you register your vehicle as you will need information found on your DMV registration in order to register your car at GFU.<\/p>\n

6. Parking permits must be affixed to the exterior of your vehicle and must be clearly visible from the rear of the vehicle. Please do not place the new permit on any existing permit as it will affect it’s ability to stay adhered to the vehicle window.<\/p>\n

Please allow 1-2 weeks after registering for your permit to be delivered to the address you indicated.<\/strong><\/p>\n

COMMUTERS:<\/strong>
\nIf you are registering more than one vehicle, please be sure to have the registration information for BOTH vehicles when you register. Both permits will be processed at the same time and sent in two different envelopes.<\/p>\n
