Want a chance to learn about and represent a different culture? How about a chance to win $200? Volunteer to host a table at the upcoming “Global Village,” sponsored by the College of Business, on Tuesday, April 14<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

The first six groups to sign up will be given $25 for supplies. Put together the coolest table decorations and information, and the student body will vote for the winner. Global Village brings together people from various cultures and countries in order to celebrate diversity, multiculturalism and global citizenship. For attendees, it’s a trip “around the world” without even leaving the campus. It provides guests with unique opportunities to experience a variety of cultures and taste their delightful specialties.<\/p>\n

The mission of the event is to foster cultural understanding, international awareness and curiosity by learning about countries many of us might not be familiar with. All students are welcome to volunteer and choose any country to represent, but there is a limited number of tables. The event will begin at 7 p.m.<\/strong> in EHS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
