Participants can get a head start on the conversation by reading a recent <a href=\"http:\/\/amps-tools.mit.edu\/tomprofblog\/archives\/2009\/03\/928_strategies.html#more\">\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Tomorrow\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Professor\u00e2\u20ac\u009d posting<\/a> and a chapter from <a href=\"http:\/\/teaching.berkeley.edu\/bgd\/motivate.html\">Tools for Teaching<\/a> (the section on motivating students to do the reading).<\/p>\n<p>The session will be held from <strong>noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 19<\/strong>, in <strong>Hoover 104<\/strong> (Hoover Hatfield Library). To reserve a lunch, e-mail <strong>Jere Witherspoon<\/strong> (<a href=\"mailto:jwithers@georgefox.edu\">jwithers@georgefox.edu<\/a>) by 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17. Everyone is welcome to attend the session, whether bringing a lunch or reserving a lunch. Please have your lunch ready so we can begin the conversation at noon.<\/p>\n<p>All faculty \u00e2\u20ac\u201d full time, part time, and adjunct \u00e2\u20ac\u201d are invited to attend Faculty Teaching Forums (FTFs).
