Know of students who need assistance with their writing? Encourage them to attend the Academic Resource Center’s workshop “Correcting Common Writing Mistakes” this Thursday, Oct. 2<\/strong>, from 10:50 to 11:40 a.m.<\/strong> in Hoover 105<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Event Description<\/strong>
\nWhen we write, we communicate \u00e2\u20ac\u201c sometimes more than we intend to. Professors are primarily concerned with what you are thinking and how you have engaged with the ideas in the course, but they also have a hard time ignoring grammatical errors. This workshop will help you understand, identify, and correct the top 10 grammatical errors that annoy professors the most.<\/p>\n
