Following are the details:<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is EdTechWomen?<\/strong><br \/>\nEdTechWomen was inspired by women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s influence in the field of education and technology. Our chapter promotes and brings together a multidisciplinary group of women focused on leveraging technology to promote stronger schools, human services and businesses through the values of community, inclusivity, visibility and impact. Visit the edtechwomen website for more information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Event Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Date: Saturday, Nov. 15<\/li>\n<li>Place: Portland Center&#8217;s Room 155<\/li>\n<li>Time: 10 a.m. to noon (pastries, tea and coffee served)<\/li>\n<li>Cost: $3 donation at the door, plus your favorite fall cookies or munchie<\/li>\n<li>RSVP: Email <strong>Jessi Huffman<\/strong> with a &#8220;Yes&#8221; at <a href=\"mailto:tri@georgefox.edu\">tri@georgefox.edu<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Meeting Agenda<\/strong><br \/>\nCelebrate members: We will mingle and, later in our meeting, explore the work of our members through small-group discussions.<\/p>\n<p>Go Deeper: Technology informs and transforms our work and personal lives. How might we pause to explore the pros and cons, and shape our use accordingly? <strong>Robin Ashford<\/strong> will focus us with a keynote address. Each of us will engage in similar reflections in our small groups.<\/p>\n<p>Network: We&#8217;ll formalize affinity groups and decide on a meeting forum that works best for us.<\/p>\n<p>Announcements: Including next quarter&#8217;s date and Planning Committee<\/p>\n<p><strong>Facilitate a Small Group During Our Meeting?<\/strong><br \/>\nAre you willing to facilitate a small group during our meeting? We are looking for K-12 and higher ed educators, and tech-focused business women. We will be asking you to share a bit about your work, and then share how technology is influencing changes within your work, home and personal life.<\/p>\n<p>We have small-group leaders from app developers, iPad researchers and mental health. We look forward to a rich cross section of facilitators representing our chapter.
