It describes the essence of Christian discipleship from a Quaker perspective. Paul also presented two papers at the International Society of Biblical Literature Conference at St. Andrews in Scotland: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153A Bi-Optic Hypothesis\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Identity and Implications \u00e2\u20ac\u201c The Ethics of Integrity in the Johannine Epistles.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d His essay, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Incidents Dispersed in the Synoptics and Cohering in John\u00e2\u20ac\u201dDodd, Brown, and Johannine Historicity,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d appeared in <em>Engaging with C.H. Dodd on the Gospel of John \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Sixty Years of Tradition and Interpretation<\/em> (Cambridge University Press). The John, Jesus, and History Project, of which Paul is a founding member, has organized an <a href=\"https:\/\/johnjesus2013.eventbrite.com\/\">international symposium<\/a> at St. Mary\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Seminary in Baltimore later this fall to discuss the book and its implications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dwayne Astleford<\/strong> (Plant Services) and <strong>Keith Schneider<\/strong> (Student Life) were named the university&#8217;s Employees of the Month for September.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Paul Anderson (Religious Studies) recently published the book Following Jesus: The Heart of Faith and Practice through Barclay Press.
