On <strong>Monday, Sept. 30<\/strong>, we will host a &#8220;Be the Match&#8221; event from <strong>11 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/strong> in the <strong>Cap and Gown Room<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Our goal is to get between 200 and 300 people registered as potential bone marrow and stem cell matches for people in need. In particular, our hope is that someone on campus would &#8220;Be the Match&#8221; for <strong>Dianna McIntyre<\/strong> (International Student Services). The event will also benefit student <strong>Haley Bellows<\/strong>, who will be selling T-shirts to help fund her cancer treatment costs.<\/p>\n<p>There are three ways to get involved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Register as a potential donor<\/li>\n<li>Volunteer to help with the registry drive (you can sign up for a time slot at <a href=\"http:\/\/doodle.com\/ff3y9rb8gqbc6w7t\">this link<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Spread the word to community members about the opportunity to register<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you in advance for your willingness to be a part of this noble cause.
