The College of Education will be hosting a group of Chinese educators from Chengdu from Sept. 22 through Oct. 12. While they will be staying most of the time in a motel, they have also specifically requested that we provide a home-stay experience. The dates of the home stays will be Saturday, Oct. 5<\/strong>, through Wednesday, Oct. 9<\/strong> (four nights). This allows not only time for the family to enjoy their guests, but also an opportunity for the guests to be included in some of their host family\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s weekend activities.<\/p>\n

Two or more are to be placed per home, but individual placements are also possible, as space allows. Host families are asked to provide sleeping accommodations and meals (except lunch on Monday and Tuesday). They ideally will also provide transportation to and from the Newberg campus. Each host family will be given $100 per guest to help defray costs.<\/p>\n
