This time you and the campus community are invited to join our incoming students in reading <em>Tattoos on the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion<\/em> by Gregory Boyle.<\/p>\n<p>Consider adding the book to your summer reading list, and keep your eyes open for more information about Common Reading events during the fall semester. If you need more motivation, check out <a href=\"http:\/\/articles.latimes.com\/2010\/mar\/17\/opinion\/la-oe-rutten17-2010mar17\">this short L.A. Times article<\/a> about the book.
