Those hired would work Fridays from May 10 through June 28.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enjoys cross-cultural experiences<\/li>\n<li>Energetic<\/li>\n<li>Enjoys meeting people from other cultures<\/li>\n<li>Good team person<\/li>\n<li>Possesses strong leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be willing and able to drive George Fox vans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accompany students and drive school van on Fridays for excursions such as river rafting, tour of Nike headquarters, Willamette jet boats and other activities throughout the state of Oregon<\/li>\n<li>If qualified, tutor students in BUSN 360, Business Law class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunity to develop cross-cultural communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to gain experience in leadership opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Meals during excursions provided and housing for tutors provided<\/li>\n<li>Stipends of $500 to $1,150 provided, depending on whether tutoring is included<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please contact <strong>Alex Pia<\/strong> (<a href=\"mailto:apia@georgefox.edu\">apia@georgefox.edu<\/a>) if interested in more information or in applying for these positions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Student assistant positions in the international summer program are available.
