Volunteer Opportunity Informational Meeting<\/strong> Event support is needed for the “Light the Night Walk” on Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. Volunteer opportunities include set-up, event support and clean-up. There are four-hour shifts starting at 9 a.m. and going until 9 p.m. Come help when you can! They need 100 volunteers on the day of the event to ensure it is a success!<\/p>\n The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s “Light The Night Walk” funds lifesaving research and support for people battling cancer. Friends, families and coworkers form fundraising teams and millions of consumers help by donating at retail outlets. These efforts culminate in inspirational, memorable evening walks in more than 200 communities each fall across North America.<\/p>\n Please come see us on Oct. 2 and join us on Oct. 27 to help save a life.<\/p>\n
