Tickets are now available for the university’s fall theatre production of Steel Magnolias<\/em> by Robert Harling.<\/p>\n

The play opens Thursday, Oct. 27, and runs Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 27-29<\/strong>, and again Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 3-6<\/strong>, in\u00c2\u00a0Wood-Mar Auditorium<\/strong>. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m.<\/strong> with the exception of the Sunday, Nov. 6, performance, scheduled as a 2 p.m.<\/strong> matinee.<\/p>\n

Come to the box office, now located at the information desk on the first floor of the Stevens Center, to redeem your complimentary student and employee tickets and purchase additional tickets. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Play Synopsis:<\/strong> Chinquapin, Louisiana. 1988. In the midst of wedding plans, divorces, births, funerals, new beginnings and profound endings, six women find a haven in the comfort of Truvy\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Beauty Salon.
