{"id":108212,"date":"2026-04-08T14:01:52","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T22:01:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/?p=108212"},"modified":"2026-04-08T14:12:45","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T22:12:45","slug":"volunteer-to-help-at-undergraduate-commencement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.georgefox.edu\/ennounce\/2026\/04\/08\/volunteer-to-help-at-undergraduate-commencement\/","title":{"rendered":"Volunteer to help at undergraduate commencement on May 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Office of Academic Affairs is still looking for several volunteers for spring undergraduate commencement on <strong>Saturday<\/strong>, <strong>May 2<\/strong>, and we are asking for &#8220;all-community&#8221; participation.<\/p>\n<p>There will be two separate ceremonies again this year, with the schedule as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>11 a.m. <\/strong>\u2014\u00a0Division of Humanities, Honors, College of Education, Division of Health &amp; Behavioral Sciences, and George Fox Digital<\/li>\n<li><strong>3 p.m. <\/strong>\u2014 Division of Engineering, Science, Art &amp; Business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Volunteers are vital to the smooth execution of the day\u2019s events and help make the day memorable for our graduates and their guests. This event is so much fun, and it could not happen without you!<\/p>\n<p>Please <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1kgaDkNssIJLxm7TlWgyB_okyGQLy92TT8JjH1WZyJgQ\/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sign up for a time to serve<\/a><\/strong> in one of the two ceremonies. All who volunteer will receive an additional day of vacation time. If you sign up for both ceremonies, lunch will be provided too.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you in advance for your willingness to serve!
